Arran is arguably the most beautiful island in Europe, with its granite peaks and sweeping moorland, wooded glens and long sandy beaches, tumbling waterfalls, big skies and wide open seascapes. A long history and temperate climate makes Arran a holiday destination you will want to return to time and again.
Croc Cottage is a traditional turn of the century Scottish cottage, set in a peaceful secluded position, backed by the gentle hills of the Monamore Glen and bounded by the Monamore Burn, with sea views. The picturesque village of Lamlash with its little harbour are just a fifteen minutes walk from the cottage. There is a wide variety of wildlife in abundance around the cottage grounds including Red Squirrels (there are no greys on Arran), and pheasants, and for twitchers there is a wide variety of birds to look out for.
All visitors are personally met by John with the key.
