These charming cottages, with their wealth of beams and climbing plants on the walls, have been sensitively converted and modernised to offer every convenience for the holidaymaker. They are both equipped to a high standard as verified by the annual Wales Tourist Board inspections.

The cottages enjoy a lovely quiet position at the end of a long, private tree lined drive into the country estate called Eisteddfa, which they are a part of. The estate is steeped in history and has the daughter of a former Prime Minister among its previous owners, and indeed descendents live here still.

There are glorious panoramic views over the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia, the pleasant farmland and the four fishing lakes of the estate and there are glimpses of the coast at Criccieth. Although secluded and peaceful, the cottages are not isolated, being only 1.5 miles from the amenities and beaches of the lovely seaside resort of Criccieth. There are many other beautiful sandy beaches, some with blue flag awards, and well-known resorts on the Lleyn peninsula, within easy reach. You can play golf at Criccieth, where discounts are available, and on several other golf courses within 8 miles.

The estate benefits from the four lakes, two of which offer coarse fishing, one trout fishing, and a new family/beginners lake, by the day or week, for a reasonable charge. You can hire tackle and buy bait at the lake office.
