 Craggley Cottage is a delightful, 200 year-old traditional stone-built cottage, standing in a quiet position in the beautiful village of West Burton, Wensleydale in the heart of the North Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is ideally situated for walkers and sightseers alike.
With exposed beams and an open fire, this ETC/Visit Britain 4-star recently restored Dales cottage is furnished to a high standard throughout, with breathtaking views from the rear garden over all of Bishopsdale. A few minutes walk to West Burton waterfall and only a mile to Aysgarth Falls, it is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday or short break in the Yorkshire Dales.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and prices include all electricity, heating, logs for open fire, bed-linen and towels. There is street parking nearby and the cottage is only a few yards from the large village green where the local store/post office and excellent pub are located.
Craggley Cottage has been awarded the specialist Visit Britain Welcome Scheme accreditations: Families Welcome, Walkers Welcome, and Cyclists Welcome. They each give families, walkers and cyclists the confidence that they are booking quality accommodation that meets their particular needs.
Craggley Cottage comprises: Lounge with open fire, LCD TV, DVD, video and payphone. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/tumble dryer, dishwasher and CD/radio player. Comfortable dining area. Bathroom with bath, overhead power shower, WC and shaving point. Master bedroom with king-size bed (& ample space for a cot). Cot, highchair and stairgate available free of charge on request. Second bedroom with twin beds. Separate drying closet for boots/clothes. Two rear gardens, with furniture, BBQ and large lawned area for children to play. Gardens have spectactular views up the dale. Smoking is permitted outside of the house, but the cottage is not suitable for pets. A welcome tray with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread and butter is also provided to welcome you on arrival.
