 Our 17th Century cottage in Topsham, is perfect for year round holidays in South Devon. Situated on the Exe Estuary, Topsham is close to fine beaches, Dartmoor and the Cathedral City of Exeter. This bustling port is designated as a historic conservation area and has many restaurants, pubs and quaint cafes.
Our centrally heated cottage is renovated to a high standard and offers many creature comforts. It is located in a quiet courtyard, close to amenities and only 300 meters from the waterfront. The courtyard contains a restored washhouse and is included in Topsham's historic trail.
The property offers: Lounge/Diner with a living flame gas fire, TV with DVD player. Books, board games and children's toys. 1 double bedroom overlooking the courtyard. 1 single bedroom with bunk bed. Well equipped kitchen with gas cooker and microwave. Bathroom with bath and shower, hot water 24/7. Iron and ironing board provided. Porch for storing outdoor clothing and equipment. Patio with chairs. Car parking space. Location: - Topsham is a friendly, and colourful place with a wide range of interesting shops. It has good facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool, a museum and a children's playground. On a practical level it has everything you need including; a bank, a butchers, a bakers, a Saturday market and a large convenience store.
- There are numerous activities nearby including walking, sailing, golf, fishing, kite-surfing, canoeing and bird-watching (the estuary is internationally renowned for its birdlife).
- You don't even need a car as Topsham is served with good bus services, its own train station and local ferries. A traffic free cycle paths takes you along the Rive Exe, to Exeter.
