Coxswain's Cottage is a terraced former coastguard cottage built in 1855, with thick walls and small windows. - It is tucked away and very close to the beach at the most easterly point of the island, with sea glimpses.
- The small south facing garden is a true suntrap, or you can shade under its mimosa tree. Ivy and roses cover the mellow brick walls.
- Gardens to the front provide a safe play area, and a tranquil setting.
- The beach is easily accessible, and is mixed sands and rock pools.
The accommodation offers: A well appointed kitchen, fully equipped with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. The sitting room/dining area has television and leads directly to the rear sun terrace. There are two bedrooms both with TV's and en-suite bathrooms, with sea glimpses (one double and a twin bedroom). Quality bed linen, duvets and towels are provided. Hot water and heating is included at no charge. Forelands is the easterly tip of Bembridge, which is an unspoiled pretty village with a small harbour for yachts and fishing boats. The village centre is a gentle cycle or short drive on flat roads.
