Situated on a working farm, only a short distance from the small tranquil village of Great Edstone, and only 4 miles from the market town of Kirkbymoorside, the cottages are set in beautiful open countryside on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
 
The approach to the cottages is along a farm lane and they provide a very peaceful and relaxing base for visiting either the East Coast resorts, or the forest and moors of the National Park, and are within easy reach of Castle Howard, and Nunnington Hall.
 
As well as the interests of a working farm with sheep and cattle to be seen, there is also private fly fishing on the river Dove, a wildlife pond and river walk.
There are now 6 cottages - 3 sleeping two (all on ground floor level), 2 sleeping 4 (all ground floor level), and 1 sleeping 6 with bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and a large living area & kitchen upstairs. Come and see Highland Cattle and calves. Jacob Sheep and lambs, and grey-faced Dartmoor sheep and Charlie the Pony.
