Originally a workshop for shoemakers, it is situated in the grounds of Stoney Villa Farm, a smallholding previously used for sheep farming. The cottage offers an ideal rural break where you will be assured of a warm welcome.
Location - Among the many attractions within easy reach are the fascinating Potteries region, Alton Towers, Peak District National Park, the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne and the historical spa town of Buxton.
- Walkers will enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside from the elevated position of the farm.
- There are extensive public footpaths, including one through a nearby rhododendron nursery.
- Within a short drive, there is a golf course, a fishing pool, a reservoir used for sailing, a riding school, tennis and cricket clubs.
- Two leisure centres nearby offer swimming, squash and badminton amongst other sports.
Accommodation The cottage has its own lawned garden, with a picnic table and views over the countryside. Plenty of car parking space is available. All the rooms are on the ground level. The bedroom sleeps two in a double bed. The spacious lounge is comfortably furnished, and there is a dining area at one end.
