The Cottage is attached to our own home, renovated to a good standard and offers peace and comfort in well-furnished accommodation for year round holidays and breaks. We are situated on the Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests are welcome to share the 5-acre field, copse and grassed areas around the large natural duck pond adjacent to the cottage. The pond is unfenced, so young children would need close supervision.

We are ideally located for visiting Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury, The Bath & West Show Ground, Longleat, Bath and Bristol.
The village has a shop with post office, and two pubs.
There is excellent walking and cycling across the Mendips.

Accommodation

The ground floor has an open plan lounge with dining and well equipped kitchen areas.
The first floor has 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and shower room with toilet and basin.
The cottage is all electric with night storage and panel heaters.
Refrigerator, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, hair dryer, iron and board, Freeview TV/DVD/iPod player and DAB/FM Radio/CD player.
Included in the rental: electricity, duvets, bed linen and towels. Sorry no washing machine.

Outside

Off road parking.
Circular clothesline.
Garden chairs and table.

The cottage is in a rural situation with many wild birds, not on a main road, but on the Wells/Bath bus route.
