 Conifer Cottage is an idyllic, two bedroom traditional stone cottage, with wood burner, situated just yards from all the amenities of the pretty Peak District village of Youlgreave, one of the prettiest villages in the Peak District National Park. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and it's the many little extra touches which make our guests return. It is ideal for a romantic break for two or for up to four people as a base for walking holidays. - Conveniently located within easy walking distance of the three village pubs (all of which serve very good home cooked food), newsagent, 2 butchers / grocery store and is adjacent to the village post office.
- Within easy driving distance are Haddon Hall (2 miles), Chatsworth (4 miles) and Bakewell home of the world famous Bakewell pudding (3 miles).
 - Youlgreave is situated in the Bradford Dale and the starting point for many fine rambles.
Accommodation The cast iron wood burner and the comfortable sofa makes the sitting room a lovely cosy place in which to relax. Master bedroom with double bed and quality mattress, duvet and pillows and fine cotton bed linen. Twin bedroom. Both bedrooms upstairs with the bathroom. Towels, linen, utilities and heating are all included in the price. Well equipped and spacious kitchen/diner including microwave oven. Outside - Small Courtyard garden with garden furniture and which catches the sun from midday onwards.
- Parking immediately opposite the cottage on an unrestricted quiet lane.
We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking inside the cottage. Conifer Cottage is one of five cottages we have in Youlgreave, with Fountainwell (click to view), Thimble (click to view), Tweedledee (click to view) and Tweedledum (click to view) being just yards away. Due to the close proximity of these cottages to each other they are ideal for taking a holiday with friends and / or family. They can be booked separately, in pairs or all together.
