Compass Cottage is built in the style of the traditional Fife fisherman's homes but completed only recently, so it's bright and modern and offers all the comfort and luxury you need to really unwind on your holiday. Located in West Wemyss, a conservation village on the shores of the Forth, the house has outstanding views towards Edinburgh.
This area is blessed with some of the driest weather in Scotland and there is plenty to do: Edinburgh is less than an hour away, St Andrews, Home of Golf, is only 40 minutes. Attractions such as Deep Sea World, Scotland's Secret Bunker, castles, beaches, boat trips, art galleries, and shopping are all near by.
Compass Cottage has been created by the owners of Scottish Linen, the luxury linens company inspired by Scotland. We are passionate about promoting the best of Scotland and are delighted to be able to offer you a flavour of this through our beautiful holiday home in Fife. With its white-washed walls, sash-and-case windows and red pantiled roof, Compass Cottage really is as pretty as a picture.
Accommodation The house is immaculately presented and offers spacious accommodation for 4 people on 2 levels. - Upstairs there are 2 king-size bedrooms (with either in 2 superking (US Californian King) or 4 single (US Twin) beds) and a fresh, contemporary bathroom.
- Downstairs is a large open-plan living / dining area, a well-fitted kitchen and separate cloakroom.
Because it's a Scottish Linen house, it's stocked to a luxurious standard so you'll experience the finer things in Fife! Things like:
- The finest embroidered Egyptian cotton bedding
- The fluffiest white towels embroidered with Fife Coast motifs
- 'Au Lait' luxury toiletries from Scotland
- Digital radio, Sony HiFi and a selection of music CDs
- Cable TV and movie DVDs
- Books and board-games
