Welcome to Colesent Cottages!
Our three Cottages are converted from original farm buildings and feature mellow stone elevations under slate roofs. Sleeping between 2 and 7 and surrounded by open Cornish farmland Colesent is the ideal base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. The inland start to the famous 'Camel Trail' is literally at the end of our drive and provides a traffic free walking and cycling path along the Camel River to Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow. Come and Stay! Camel Trail. Padstow, Wadebridge and Port Isaac are nearby. Sandy beaches at Rock and Daymer Bay. Surfing beach at Polzeath. Cream tea on arrival. We are situated between the pretty villages of St Tudy and Blisland, in beautiful peaceful countryside between the coast and Bodmin Moor. Colesent is at the end of a wooded drive and overlooks the Camel Valley.
You will enjoy the stunning views over the surrounding Duchy of Cornwall farmland and for miles beyond with no towns in sight. You can walk or cycle straight from your cottage and enjoy the tranquillity of this area. If you are visiting during the winter or a cold spell then two of the cottages have open log fires to curl up in front of with the Bulls House having a log burner. As central heating is provided in all cottages Colesent really is a wonderful place to stay at any time of year. Accommodation Our cottages are tastefully converted from original farm buildings and feature beamed ceilings and some stone walls. Each has its own garden and patio area with barbecue. Cots and high chairs are available, if you don't want to bring your own. There is ample parking space for each cottage and we will take dogs by arrangement. Hollyhill Cottage This cottage will sleep up to 7 in three bedrooms. Large master double bedroom with a king-size bed and single bed. 2 further twin bedrooms. A large lounge with open fireplace. A good-sized kitchen/diner. Utility room. Shower room. Bathroom. Swallows Nest Cottage A 3 Bedroom Cottage for up to 7 people. lounge with open fire. A large kitchen/diner/family room. A large double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a single bed. A double bedroom. A twin room. There is also a new family bathroom, making this in all a comfortable and roomy cottage to stay in. The Bulls House Cottage - Sleeps up to 4.
