Situated in the heart of Wensleydale, Coleby is a 17th century grade II listed farmhouse with stone mullioned windows, oak beams and some original features. A welcoming home full of old world charm. An ideal holiday away from it all. Walk in a different direction every day or drive round the beauty spots of the Yorkshire Dales. There are pubs and village shops nearby in Askrigg (1 mile) and Bainbridge (half mile), with shops, pubs and tourist attractions in Hawes which is 5 miles.
Accommodation comprises: Entrance through the original oak door into large tiled hall with period furniture. Spacious lounge with inglenook coal fire, TV, video and DVD. Oil fired central heating throughout. Coal, oil and electricity all included. Large kitchen with coal fire and featuring original Victorian stone sink. Electric cooker, fridge, deep freeze, microwave, washing machine and all the usual crockery, pans, kettle, iron etc. Stone spiral staircase leads up to bathroom with toilet, basin and shower over the bath. Two large bedrooms, one double bed and the other three singles. All bed linen provided but bring your own towels. Cot and highchair available. Outside: A large garden in front of the house looks down a tree lined drive which apart from the day to day working of the farm is peaceful and quiet, about 300 yds to the road. There is a more private garden from the side door with an uninterrupted view across fields and the Pennines. Well behaved pets welcome.
