Situated away from the main roadin the Wensleydale village of West Witton, in the rear grounds of Grassgill House which dates back to 1765. The renovation of Coachman's Loft has been carried out to a very high standard, retaining some of the original features, and makes an excellent base from which to explore the beauty and charm of the Yorkshire Dales. - The village boasts an excellent pub and the award winning Wensleydale Heifer, the AA fish restaurant of the year in 2007 and 2008. There is also a village shop/post office and other facilities in the nearby busy market town of Leyburn.
- The property lies in the lee of Pen Hill and there are excellent walks available from the doorstep taking in the village of West Burton and the stunning Aysgarth Falls.
- The area has numerous nearby sites of historical significance including Bolton Castle and Middleham Castle.
The accommodation comprises:
