Savour the peace and quiet in this luxury, individual, single storey, beamed cottage, newly refurbished in traditional style, with antiques, and an electric "woodburner" for winter evenings. Coachmans Cottage is situated in a quiet lane off the village green, only a short walk from the pub which serves food, and the old-fashioned community shop with a coffee bar. Steeple Ashton is one of the prettiest unspoiled villages in this area, dating back to the 15th C. when it was a thriving market town based on the wool trade, with many original properties still remaining. The imposing church, known as a pocket cathedral, still dominates the village today.
