Cnoc an T-Sabhail (The Barn on the Hill) is a comfortable, three bedroomed cottage built in 2001 and located in a breathtaking part of the Isle of Skye, with panoramic sea views to the front and the rugged Quiraing Mountains to the rear. Situated in the Trotternish Peninsula in the township of Digg, it is a mile and a half to the local shop and sixteen miles to Portree. The Museum of Island Life, The Whitewave Centre and Kilt Rock are some of the local attractions although Cnoc an T-Sabhail is also ideally situated for walking, touring, sporting activities or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the area.
Accommodation The property has an enclosed garden and parking for several cars. Pedestrian access is by ramp and the thresholds are low to facilitate the disabled. Inside there is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, as well as a spacious, open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Upstairs there is a double bedroom (with space for cot or childs bed) and a twin room. There is also a bathroom upstairs with toilet, basin and shower. The cottage is clean, bright and contemporary and is well furnished and equipped. There is oil-fired central heating, which is included in the tariff as well as all linen and towels. Equipment includes DVD player, microwave. Guests may like to take a trip with Bella Jane Boat Trips or AquaXplore at 10% discount. Wildlife and sightseeing trips go to the remote Small Isles as well as Loch Coruisk and the Cuillin Mountains.
