Cloughey Cottage is set on a mountainside looking over Fintra Beach (Blue Flag) and Donegal Bay, to Benhulben Mountain and the tomb of W.B.Yeats in County Sligo. - Two and a half miles away is the fishing village of Killybegs, with shops, pubs and hotels, most of which do food and entertainment.
- At nearby St.John's Point is Castlemurray, a gourmet French restaurant and hotel.
- You can Ride, Golf, Hill Walk, Fish (freshwater and sea), and explore the countryside, which abounds with historic monuments and awe-inspiring scenery.
- On nearby Slieve League Mountain are the highest marine cliffs in Europe and the terrifying One Man's Pass, 2000 feet above the waves crashing on the "Giants Chair and Table" in the cove below (photo above). Only for those with a head for heights and equipped for hill walking!.
The cottage comprises: Well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, and washing machine, tumble dryer, etc. Sitting room with TV and video. 1 bathroom + shower, WHB, toilet and bidet. 1 shower room with WHB, toilet and bidet. Master bedroom with kingsize bed. One twin bedroom. One single bedroom. Linen is supplied. Electricity by 2 Euro coin meter. Central heating oil charged by meter reading. A deposit of 95 Euro per week of booking, is required at the time of booking, to be returned on vacation of the cottage in good condition, within 1 month of departure.
