Clifton Cottage is a traditional stone cottage right in the centre of Greenfield Village which is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park and Saddleworth Moor (on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border).
The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and offers comfortable holiday accommodation in an area which is ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Places to visit locally include The Last of the Summer Wine Country, and attractions include Castleshaw Roman Fort, Uppermill Museum and various shops, Hudderfield Narrow Canal (Canal barge rides available), and Dovestones Reservoir (sailing). Yorkshire and Cheshire can be reached within a short drive and you are ideally placed for walking, being only just off the Pennine Way.
Accommodation: There are two bedrooms - one double, and one single. Sitting room. Kitchen/dining area. Shower room. There is a bedsettee if required. A cot is also available.
