Hayfield is a flourishing village on the edge of the Peak National Park full of old stone houses, boasting 5 pubs, 2 restaurants and a wonderful cheap fish and chips café. It also has a butcher, grocer, greengrocer, post office, newsagent, chemist and a cricket pitch. Within 30 minutes drive away are Buxton, Castleton and its caves, and the stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. Hayfield is a walker's paradise lying at the foot of Kinder Scout and very close to Edale.
Cliff View is a lovely 3-storey semi-detached house with spectacular views across the surrounding hills and a beautiful garden backing onto Lantern Pike, a popular hikers destination.
Accommodation Centrally heated. Living room has a TV, DVD, video, CD, record player, piano and open fire. Large kitchen/dining room opening out into a patio with covered outdoor eating area and lawned area. Utility room with washing machine, microwave, boiler and WC. 2 double bedrooms on the first floor, and bathroom with shower. Top floor is a family room with a double bed, and 6 velux windows with outstanding views. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. Small travel cot and air-bed is also available. Bed linen, towels and central heating included.
