What a fantastic week we have had! This cottage has been the best find location wise; half way between the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. We have managed to visit Hadrian's Wall, walk up the "Old Man of Coniston", taste cheese in Wendsleydale, seen the highest waterfall in England and walked the longest "show case" at White Scar Caves, all in 6 days. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed some lovely walks around Cumbria and Yorkshire. Emma & Mark
The cosy cottage has been a home to us. We have had lots of places to explore. It was our second visit and we will be coming back again soon. Heather & John

We really enjoyed our holiday, it was great to relax in the warmth of a real fire. The weather didn't cause us problems, in fact it added to the experience, a real winter wonderland. Phil
