The Cider House is a detached cottage in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It sits alone in a large enclosed area of lawn bordered by the Corry Brook. There are views over the countryside in every direction, and you can enjoy total peace and tranquility as you relax in your own garden area. (View us on google map).

Walking ten minutes alongside the Corry Brook will take you to the pretty village of Dalwood with its 14th century church and the Tuckers Arms pub famous for its food. You can also stock up with provisions from the Community Village Shop.

The area is a walker's paradise having many miles of footpaths with hedgerows full of flowers in the spring and early summer and being a haven for wildlife. The South West Coastal Path along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, is only twenty minutes away by car.

Nearby beaches include Charmouth and Lyme Regis famous for their fossils, and picturesque Beer, Branscombe, Sidmouth and Seaton.

Garden lovers will find plenty of inspiration from the local gardens open to the public. One of the best, Burrow Farm Gardens, is in the village. You are also welcome to enjoy my own large plant collection.

Food lovers can dine at the nearby River Cottage headquarters, or have a more modest lunch and make some purchases at their shop in Axminster, 15 minutes from the Cider House.

There are several golf courses nearby and facilities for horse riding and cycling.

Upstairs and ground floorbedrooms with two beds in each.
TV, DVD player and music centre.
Cooker, microwave, washing machine and refrigerator in the kitchen.
Separate w.c. and large shower on the ground floor.
Doors open onto a patio area with picnic table.
Ample on site parking.
Wifi available for accessing emails and surfing.
Euros accepted.
