This charming Grade II Listed traditional Lakeland cottage is situated in the heart of Ambleside. It is convenient for all local amenities including a good selection of shops and restaurants and is also an ideal base for walkers. Windermere, Rydal Water and Grasmere are all within walking distance and Coniston Water and Tarn Hows are no more than a short drive from Ambleside. Accommodation
The cottage has the benefit of full gas central heating.
There are two bedrooms, a snug sitting room / diner with an open fire, exposed beams, flat screen TV and DVD / CD player.
The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave.
The bathroom has a mixer shower over the bath, a shaver point and a heated towel rail.
Bed linen, tea towels and a bath mat are provided but not towels. These can, however, be hired if required.
Coal is provided free of charge.
There is a telephone for the convenience of visitors. The number is 015394 31809. We ask that the estimated cost of any calls made be reimbursed.
Outside
The small south west facing garden / sitting out area at the back of the cottage is a little sun trap.
As parking in Church Street between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm is restricted a permit is provided to park in Compston Street at the back of the cottage.
