Wonderfully comfortable, sleeps 4, (one unit), Rural, village cottage. Perfect to explore the Jurassic South Coast & Hardy's Dorset. Many attractions from beautiful gardens, glorious coastline locating fossils, and discovering unspoilt countryside. Lunch by the sea at The Hive Cafe in Burton Bradstock is recommended. The Jurassic South Coast has been awarded World Heritage Site Status - and is well worth a visit. Studland, Lulworth Cove amongst others not to be missed. National Trust houses within easy reach i.e. Stourhead, Lytes Cary, Barrington Court,  Athelhampton, Minterne, .  Sherborne 9 miles to the north of Buckland Newton, Dorchester 10 miles & Weymouth 20 miles to the south.

Cerne Abbas has a most welcoming Giant and is worth a visit! New Inn Pub in Cerne Abbas recommended, village has many good walks, shop and tea room. The Piddle Valley also has many pubs, Poachers, Thimble, Piddle Inn, The Brace of Pheasants and Blue Vinney in
Puddletown. Henley Hillbillies in village for older children to enjoy quad biking, badger watching, go carting.

Church Farm Stables is wonderful place for children to enjoy the countryside, with freedom & space to run around, sunken trampoline in garden, 20 acres of fields surrounding the house sheep and lambs in the fields. - Adults can just relax and discover the peace and quiet and beauty of unspoilt West Dorset in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Children's playground within short walking distance from Stables Gaggle of Geese is the village Pub Village shop selling local produce, papers, fresh bread delivered daily, coffee machine, DVD rental within five minutes walk
