Church Farm provides an ideal base for sight-seeing, exploring the East Riding or just relaxing. - The village of Garton on the Wolds, three miles from the traditional market town of Driffield, is central to York, Beverley and Hull, the North Yorkshire Moors and the seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey.
- The stately homes of Sledmere House, Burton Agnes Hall and Castle Howard are close by.
- The green lanes and Wolds Way are idyllic for walkers; and for bird enthusiasts the RSPB reserve at Bempton.
Church Farm, no longer a working farm, is set back from the main road near to the historical Norman church of St Michaels and all Angels in which the wall paintings have recently been restored. The farm buildings (c.1740) have been sympathetically converted offering a choice of accommodation:
The Granary (sleeps 2) First floor accommodation with external stone staircase. Comprises sitting room (enjoying extensive view of the Wolds), dining area and well fitted kitchen, option of either a double or twin bed arrangement with en suite bathroom.
