Chimney Cottage is a charming, thatched, holiday cottage for up to five adults plus child plus cot, in the delightful historic village of Dunster. The spacious, grade 2 listed cottage is near the old Mill with a south-facing courtyard garden sloping down to the stream that feeds the Mill (a stone wall with a solid gate ensures safety for children). It was completely renovated over the 2007/8 winter to provide high quality accommodation with modern comforts, yet retaining many historic features.

Dunster is a perfect base for exploring Exmoor. It has many attractions, with over 200 listed buildings, the castle dating back to the 11th century, the medieval yarn market, the recently restored Tythe barn, the old mill, and a wonderful church. It has several pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, plus essential shops. Minehead with full shopping and entertainment facilities is less than 3 miles. Several excellent walks start close by the cottage.

Sitting Room with inglenook fireplace containing an electric "woodburner", two 3-seater sofas, Sky TV (free channels only), DVD player/recorder. WiFi.
The large Kitchen/Dining room includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric fan oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, micro hifi, a large table with 6 chairs and a sofa.
Three bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, one with an en suite wc/basin.
Bathroom with bath, thermostatic shower over the bath, basin and wc.
The back porch provides excellent storage for boots and coats. It is large enough to take a couple of bikes.
Full gas central heating, all electricity, linen and towels (not beach towels) included in the price.
Private parking space.
Dogs welcome.
No smoking in the cottage.

Saturday changeover.
