is a traditional whitewashed stone cottage with considerable character. It is at least 300 years old and has been in the same family for 4 generations. Although it has recently been extensively renovated it still retains original features like the open fire, exposed oak beams and curving stone staircase.

Situated in the charming hamlet of Millbeck, the cottage enjoys a superb position, nestling on the lower slopes of mighty Skiddaw (913m), and commands spectacular lake and fell views. It is an ideal base for exploring the Lake District National Park.  

• The cottage is just 2 miles from the bustling market town of Keswick with its pubs, restaurants, shops, theatre and many other attractions.
• Children and pets are especially welcome and, as the cottage forms part of a farm, there are plenty of animals to see and hens to feed!
