• Castle Urquhart is close by and there are boat trips on Loch Ness, and Glen Affric, a nature reserve is a 15 min drive up Glenurquhart.
• Fifteen minutes drive from Drumnadrochit is Inverness, with all the usual facilities of a large city.
• There are many lovely walks in the area as well as more serious rock and mountain climbing, also fishing, golf, horse riding, dolphin watching, bird watching, wildlife and mountain biking to name a few, catered for in this recreational area of Scotland.
• The Chalet is located in the centre of the Highlands - ideal for touring. Skye, Ullapool etc are one hour's drive west; the east coast to the Black Isle is forty minutes drive, and north 2 - 3 hours' drive will find you at John O'Groats and Orkney.

The Chalet is well equipped and cosy to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable and peaceful stay:  

• There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room.
• The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine as well as all utensils and crockery needed.
• There is an iron and board and drying facilities.
• The kitchen is open plan to the sitting room which is a comfortable area to relax in with a satellite television, DVD player, CD player, radio, games, books, and area information.
• A shower room completes the chalet.
• There is parking for 3 cars.
• The chalet has its own garden to relax in.
