'Wonderful stay in the frozen snow. Fire was great-dry wood!! Central heating & duvets did the job perfectly. Lovely day exploring Shaftesbury, walking around Mere, & climbing Castle Hill. Thanks for being so welcoming & making it a home from home.

What a lovely, cosy, warm cottage. We made a last minute decision to come away for the weekend & had a thoroughly good time. A perfect retreat....hopefully we will return one day.

Thanks again for a lovely stay in your cottage. Two years ago it was our honeymoon, this time we brought our 9 month old son for our first family holiday. A great place to test drive the National Trust memberships-we've saved money already! I am sure we'll be back soon, we love this place & the area.

We spent two fantastic weeks here relaxing at Chance Cottage. You have provided a perfect home away from home while we visit family. We will definitely be back on our next visit to England & Mere!

Our 10th year, a lovely welcoming cottage as ever, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. We've had a lazy time visiting old friends & haunts. Some heavy rain, strong winds but also lovely warm sun to eat out on the patio, lots of lovely blackberries across the road, thank you.
