A delightful converted barn in a stunning, safe and secluded location with no near neighbours, standing in 6 acres of gardens and pastureland with magnificent views of the surrounding hills and countryside including the Black Mountains. - The property stands just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park and only two miles from the centre of Llandovery with its interesting range of shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants.
- Cefn Rhuddan is an ideal holiday location for families with dogs as there are many mountain and woodland walks straight from the property which has the Cambrian Way running alongside.
- There are numerous other local and interesting attractions including Carreg Cennen castle, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines (National Trust) and the National Botanic Gardens and Aberglasney all within a few miles.
- The beautiful coast at the Gower or Aberaeron and many other delightful little villages on Cardigan Bay are only a short drive away.
 Accommodation The property offers two twin-bedded rooms both with en-suite showers and toilets, one double bedroom with king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom and Stena stairlift leading straight to this room via a second staircase and one single bedroom with adjacent shower room/toilet - plus sofabed. On the ground floor is a magnificent and fully equipped kitchen and breakfast room with slate floor and woodburning stove. All units are solid oak. Two separate toilets on the ground floor mean no queuing! Leading from the kitchen into the dining room with large dining table (for eight) visitors can enjoy wonderful and relaxing views of the mountains through the French doors leading onto the patio. The large and comfortable sitting room boasts three sofas, a wood burning stove and freeview TV. Throughout the barn are genuine oriental rugs in all rooms and numerous pictures and other ornaments creating a homely and personal feel. Outside in the enclosed garden there is ample space for children and dogs to play safely whilst adults can enjoy peace of mind and relax with an evening drink on the patio. Included at Cefn Rhuddan is a small barn which has been converted into a play room with kitchen area and bathroom/toilet. Here we offer table tennis, darts, board games etc. An absolute godsend in inclement weather. NB. There is an unfenced pond on the far side of the property. Small charge towards fuel: £25 per week May-Sept. £40 per week Oct-April. 2 baskets of logs free - thereafter at cost.
