Originally the medieval watergate of Hereford Castle, Castle Cliffe East House has been carefully restored throughout to provide luxury self-catering holiday accommodation for up to six people. Its open fires, period furniture and wonderful views make it the perfect place to relax with friends and family.  

• Situated on Castle Green, the house has south facing riverside gardens overlooking Bishop's Meadow.
• It is an idyllically tranquil setting and yet only a few minutes walk from the Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi Exhibition, shops, restaurants, bars and theatre.
• The surrounding countryside is beautiful and access to the Wye Valley Walk is literally on your doorstep.
• And if you want to explore, Tintern Abbey, the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye are all within easy driving distance.
