Picturesque village of Tayvallich in the West Coast of Scotland, at the head of Loch Sween near the Crinan Canal. This fully modernised cottage has a magnificent position looking straight out across Tayvallich Bay and the hills beyond.

The cottage is ideally situated for touring the West Coast, with sailing, fishing and walking - good forest walks and archaeological sites nearby. Sailing dinghies for hire from jetty. There is an Egon Ronay seafood restaurant and excellent shop in the village. The main local town, Lochgilphead is 11 miles away with supermarket etc.

Carsaig Cottage is very much a family home. The accommodation is both comfortable and extremely homely. It sleeps 6 people.

Upstairs: One double bed and one twin.
Downstairs: One twin bedroom.
Two bathrooms, one upstairs with a washbasin, WC and bath. One bathroom downstairs with a washbasin and WC plus separate shower room downstairs.
The family kitchen is spacious with cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, and a large extendable dining table.
There is also a utility room with deep freeze and washing machine.
The front room, overlooking the bay, is a cosy sitting room with an open fire.
The cottage has 'off peak' central heating downstairs plus convector heaters in bedrooms.

No pets are allowed.
Please provide your own linen.
Downies and pillows are on the beds.
