Carrick Holiday Cottages are two single storey cottages and a barn conversion over two storeys. These are situated next to a working farm. The houses are close to Carrick Bay - a place of unspoiled natural beauty boasting a safe, sandy beach suitable for swimming and sailing.
There are many places to visit of both beauty and interest in the area and there are also a number of challenging golf courses within easy driving distance. Sea, river and loch angling are all available within easy reach.
ABOUT THE PROPERTIES
The views from and around the cottages are magnificent, and the properties are comfortably furnished, carpeted in all living areas and the kitchens are fully equipped with oven, hob and microwaves. Washing machines, tumble dryers and fridge freezers are also provided. Travel cot and high chairs also provided on request.
Each cottage has: - A bath, separate shower and an electric fan heater.
- Woodburning stoves with generous amount of logs provided, but electric fires are also available for convenience.
- TV, Satellite, DVD and Video machine are provided in all properties.
- Electricity included in price.
- All gardens have drying facilities and there is ample off road parking space.
- The barn has a downstairs bath with shower over and one room has an en suite shower room with toilet and basin.
- There is a multifuel burner in the upstairs living room and the rest of the barn is oil fuelled central heating, this is included in the price along with the electric and all bedding.
- You may bring your own bed linen and towels or hire is available on request, for the cottages.
Carrick Cottage
A traditional stone built farm cottage 100 yards from the bay.
Carrick has a kitchen, lounge bathroom and three bedrooms: 1 double, 1 family room with 2 singles, 1 set of bunk beds and ensuite shower room, 1 with full size bunks. Electric heating, and a woodburning stove.
It has a safe enclosed garden with patio area and furniture. There is a shed outside and barbecue.
Lichen
A modern cottage close to foreshore with its own private access to the beach.
Lichen has a kitchen, utility area, lounge, bathroom and three bedrooms: 1 double, 1 double with additional single bed, 1 twin with 2 single beds, and a folding bed is available on request. Electric heating, and a woodburning stove.
There is a garage which can hold one vehicle and driveway. It has a safe enclosed garden with patio area and furniture, and a barbecue.
Owl Cote Byre
A barn conversion with two floors - a querky upside down barn.
Upstairs there is a very large living room with small balcony which has a view out over the bay and Murray Isles. A kitchen/diner and a small box bedroom.
Downstairs has a bathroom, 1 master bedroom with en suite shower room, 1 double bedroom with king bed and a single bed.
It has a small enclosed garden with a stone paved area and a large 3/4 of an acre garden with an enclosed pond. There is furniture to sit and dine on outside and a barbecue provided.
