Carew Newton Farm Cottage adjoining the main farm house, is situated on a 150 acre working farm with horses, sheep and cattle land is accessed from a quiet country lane. From the farm land a path leads down to the Estuary where many birds and wildlife can be seen. Children are welcome to look around the farm. The cottage also boasts a large private garden and a BBQ.
Less than 1 mile away is Carew Castle, one of the few castles to display the development from Norman fortification to Elizabethan country house. The carew site incorporates the castle, a working Tidal Mill, a medieval bridge and a picnic area as well as the 11th century Celtic cross, one of the three finest in Wales.
Enjoy Carew's delightful country setting overlooking the 23 acre Mill Pond whilst taking a walk around the historic site. The small village of Carew boasts its own pub and restaurant and is 3/4 mile away overlooking the castle and mill pond with its beautiful swans.

Whatever your interests, there are activities and attractions to suit all, including: horse riding, sailing, boat trips, golf and leisure, fishing, cycling and theme parks such as Oakwood situated 6 miles away (a great day out) and Folly Farm (a must for those with small children).
