 Situated in a quiet lane, this 120 year old traditional terraced cottage is ideally positioned for a perfect holiday. Newton Stewart is a rural market town in the heart of Galloway population 3,000. It has good local facilities including: several pubs/hotels; a cinema; restaurants; a swimming pool and an award winning family butchers.

 Location:  
  • It is 7 miles from the Galloway Forest (the largest in Scotland), which has the world renowned 7 Stanes mountain biking course at Kirroughtree. You can also see red deer, red squirrels and feed the wild goats.
  • There is plenty to see and do, with attractions such as Scotland's National Booktown at Wigtown (7 miles), Cream o'Galloway (14 miles) and Creetown Gem Rock Museum (12 miles).
  • There are: golf courses at Newton Stewart (18 hole) and Wigtown (9 hole); the Galloway Hills for hikers; unspoilt beaches; castles; sub-tropical gardens; rivers for salmon fishing; and the area is a haven for bird watchers.
  • For the more adventurous there are day trips available to Belfast from Stranraer (25 miles).
