Canal Farm offers a pleasant setting for a peaceful break - with lovely views over open countryside to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The cottages are located in Austen Fen on the banks of the Louth Canal.
Three comfortable well equipped cottages each with its own courtyard area. These have been created through the sympathetic conversion of traditional red bricked and pantiled farm buildings, retaining the character of their agricultural heritage.
 
Ticklepenny (photo on left above) is a single storey cottage, providing cosy accommodation for 4 people, this cottage has been upgraded for the 2008/9 season.
Kingfisher (photo on right above) is a single storey cottage, sleeping 4 in two bedrooms. Original beams. Suitable for those with limited mobility.
 Barn Owl has the special feature of a spiral staircase with oak panelled gallery and can accommodate 4/5 people in luxurious comfort. - The Louth Canal offers opportunities for fishing (free with a rod licence) and walking along the Tow Path Walk.
- New course fishing lake on site available free of charge to guests.
- Nearby coastal reserves will delight birdwatchers and nature lovers - grey seal pups can be seen on the sands in the Autumn.

Austen Fen is 7 miles east of Louth, Halfway between the villages of Yarburgh and Grainthorpe on the Louth Canal.
