 This lovely traditional highland croft cottage stands in an elevated position on the southern peninsula of this magical island with beautiful views of the Sound of Sleat and the Knoydart Hills. Although traditional in style the cottage has been modernised to a very high standard with fully fitted Kitchen with microwave oven, automatic washing machine, fridge and freezer, however it still maintains many original features with a very cosy homely touch, often described in the visitors book as being 'just like granny's house'.
Golf, Fishing ,Hillwalking and Birdwatching are amongst the many recreational pursuits to be enjoyed in this area (The Garden of Skye). Nearby places of interest include the award winning Clan Donald Centre, the Gaelic College, and the Ancient Tokavaig Woodland.
Nearest Pub / Hotel which boasts an Egon Ronay award winning restaurant and a Whisky tasting centre 1 mile, nearest shops and supermarket 6 miles at Broadford, Skye Bridge 14 miles, Mallaig Armadale Ferry 7miles.

Note: A fairly steep narrow stairway leads to the upstairs. Bathroom with coloured suite, full bath and electric shower. Double Glazed throughout. All electric with off peak storage heating in all rooms, Colour TV (SKY Dish), Video Recorder, Tumble Dryer, Pay Phone. Off road parking. Electricity charged at current rates on power meter. How to find us: From Skye Bridge follow A87 signposted Portree / Uig. Follow this route for approx 6 miles. Turn left signposted A851 Armadale Ferry and follow this route for approx 7.5 miles. Turn left signposted A852 Isleornsay and Camuscross. Turn right at telephone kiosk (signposted Camuscross), follow this narrow lane until road forks at end of straight stretch (do not go along shore road), bear right up hill and along row of houses below the road, no 35 is on the gate. A fairly steep pathway leads from the road down to the cottage.
Guests travelling from south can make a stopover in Oban as the owner runs an established Bed & Breakfast Guest House in the town (click on our website button). Special Rates for guests going to the cottage.
