 Camnacar Cottage is on an organic smallholding in the charming village of Kirkmichael. This warm and spacious cottage has 3 welcoming pub / restaurants and an excellent community run village shop all within minutes.  
  • Explore the 2 acres of forest garden, safely within gates.
  • Make friends with the animals; pigs, chickens and ducks are in residence most of the time. Children, you can help at feeding time.
  • Try our garden produce, cooked meals also available.

  • The cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, large living room, kitchen and bathroom, all with adjustable central heating and double glazing.

  • The cottage is off the Main Street of Kirkmichael opposite the village shop / Post office and garage.
  • Good walks from pottering around the village and along the lovely River Ardle to doing part of the famous Cateran Trail (5 day round trip). Good opportunities for cyclists too.
  • Michelin recommended hotel/ restaurant within 10 minutes walk.
  • There are many golf courses in Perthshire. Rosemount is close by and Gleneagles about an hour away.
  • Fishing, horseriding, shooting available nearby.
  • 20 minutes to the slopes of Glenshee Ski Centre for skiiers or just enjoy the view from the top in the summer months.
  • Interesting gardens, castles and whiskey distilleries in abundance, and good shopping too.
