Camel Valley Cottages are located near the North Cornish coast just 15 minutes from the popular fishing port of Padstow. The two properties enjoy beautiful views across the Camel Valley and nestle in two acres of shared woodland and gardens set within a further 10 acres of woods, orchards and water meadows that lead to the Camel River.

Set on a smallholding, award winning Badgers Holt is attached to the owners' home, whilst Foxes Den is 60 yards away. Each property has its own garden area, and nature trails can be enjoyed throughout the grounds, with abundant wildlife such as badgers, foxes and otters.

Foxes Den (sleeps 2): This detached 19th-century stone building has been beautifully converted into a delightful and cosy cottage. The cottage comprises a conservatory/living room with electric 'wood burner' and under floor heating, fully fitted kitchen/dining-room open to a high beamed ceiling with roof lights, shower room /WC with under floor heating and a double bedroom with four-poster bed. There is also a sun trap garden. Sorry no pets. Foxes Den has shared use washing machine and tumble dryer.

Badgers Holt (sleeps 2): Award winning Badgers Holt is attached to the owners' property and enjoys the same peace and tranquillity as Foxes Den. The property includes a private sunny verandah with panoramic valley views, living room/dining area with wood burning stove, double bedroom with four-poster bed, fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom/WC. Sorry no pets. Badgers Holt has own washing machine, and shared use tumble dryer.

Both cottages have:

two HD flat screen satellite TVs (with DVD player and home cinema system),
dishwasher,
hair dryer, high chair,
patio with furniture, barbecue,
private parking for two cars.
Electric and heating (including fuel for the wood burning stove in Badgers Holt), linen and towels are included.
Shops are about 2 miles away for your everyday needs.

The Camel Valley is peaceful and tranquil with an abundance of wildlife including Otters, Buzzards, Foxes and Badgers. The area is a designated area of special scientific interest (SSI) and is one of the reasons so many of our clients return at various times of the year, to see the wildlife and fauna and to enjoy the changing seasons. Both Foxes Den and Badgers Holt are also within close, easy walking distance to the Camel Trail which leads to Wadebridge and also the fishing port of Padstow, with bicycle hire, beaches, shops, inns and restaurants.

There are many other attractions within easy reach including Cornwall's heritage, historic houses and gardens, the Camel Trail, the Eden Project, and the rugged coastlines scenic beauty. The traditional holiday of sandy beaches is not far away, either on the North coast or the South Coast and for the more active there is everything from sailing to diving, surfing to fishing and much more. The area also offers a range of golf courses, diving & sailing schools, and also cycling or walking the South West Coastal Path.
