Steve & Catherine - Cheshire
Our second stay at the cottage, last time in the ice and this time in the rain but idyllic each time.  Thank you.  The care taken in providing such a beautiful cottage is much appreciated.

Come for a special 30th wedding anniversary weekend, cottage is wonderful, as are the views.  Spectacular wildlife, barn owl in cottage barn alongside huge bats, hares in field opposite, several buzzards, pied wagtail feeding young in wall of the barn.  Midgies and flies were a bit of a nuisance especially when having a barbecue.  Cottage fire is tremendous, lovely and cosy, well equipped, clean & tidy.  Thank you Flora & Richard for the wine and flowers.  The boys were looking forward to a days fishing at the lake behind the cottage, it was a harder walk than they thought but was well worth it, as they were told there were pike in there but didn’t quite believe it but after only an hour they landed a 3ft 20lb monstrous pike – we haven’t heard the end of it since!! We have a photograph to prove it so we will send it to Richard & flora to see.  They will be back for bigger and better!!  What a fabulous weekend and thanks again – Elizabeth & Judith, Bob & Ed(the Pike) Morgan.

This is our second cottage in Snowdonia and this even better than the last which was wonderful.  Lovely cottage, fantastic location (friendly farmer).  Portmeirion was idyllic – go on a hot day and take swimwear, we climbed Snowdon in the heat yesterday, a long 7 hours up & down but well worth it.  Many thanks for a fab holiday.

Noel & Esther – London
Had an even better time this year.  The kids just love the freedom and the weather was perfect.  Thanks for the beautifully kept cottage, just a shame about the mud outside had a hard time keeping the kids out of it.  Thanks again.

Kaye & Toyns -
Kids loved the sheep being in the garden in the morning! Found the lake with breath taking views.  Thank you very much for a lovely holiday.

Basia, Simon & Emily – Worcestorshire
Emily can now climb stiles on her own, but still hasn’t caught a sheep A perfect holiday! Thank you. Xxx

We have had a brilliant week.  Beautiful cottage, very fond of the views of mountains.  Enjoyed Bala lake, and searching for the pike lake! Will miss the gates!

Buzzards, beds, sharp knives, white linen, profound silence.  Had a wonderful, busy time.  Rug chapel was astonishing.  Everyone we met were friendly except Lisa at the Co-op who was hilariously miserable.  A very beautiful place to which I’d like to return as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Jo Stone – Leighton
I’m sure the lady in the Co-op must cheer up on her day off!  I wish we could take some of this peace and quiet home with us.  This is a special place and we’re truly had a wonderful, restful holiday.  Didn’t see the owl although we heard it and felt the swoosh over our heads.  Finally made it to Llyn Hesgyn by going the other way round, on the track beyond.  Difficult, even mum at 70.  Thank you so much, will be back!
