 Cae Hir is a lovely 18th Century farmhouse, set on a remote hillside on a large rural estate in the Snowdonia National Park. It has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and moorland and offers tranquility in a perfect secluded location. Explore the surrounding hills in complete and utter peace, go fishing in the private lake in the valley behind the house, or relax in the garden watching the magnificent Red Kites wheeling in the sky above.  
  • 3 miles away is the village of Frongoch which has the renowned National White Water Centre.
  • Close by is the market town of Bala, located at the head of Llyn Tegid the largest natural lake in Wales and well known for its great water sports including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, rafting and fishing.
  • Bala is also home to the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway which runs along the side of the lake. Other activities nearby include golf, mountain biking and climbing.
  • This is an ideal location for touring all of North and Mid Wales including the stunning Cambrian Coast with the six mile long Harlech Beach, overlooked by the majestic medieval castle.
Accommodation  
  • The sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner making it perfect to snuggle up on the sofa and gaze at the view outside.
  • The kitchen with a dining area is fully fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker, and microwave and fridge freezer.

  • Upstairs, the three bedrooms all have fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 1 has a large king size bed while bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds.
  • The bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower, WC and heated towel rail.
