Bourton-on-the-Water is one of the larger Cotswold villages. The shallow river Windrush flows through the centre, spanned by low arched bridges and flanked by wide village greens. The village offers many attractions such as Birdland, a Model Village, Motor Museum, Model railway, Swimming Pool, Perfumery, Pottery, Dragonfly Maze, Trout Farm, Indoor Play Barn and numerous restaurants and shopping facilities. It also has its own Tourist Information Centre.
