This 17th Century beamed stone cottage is situated in the centre of the picturesque coastal village of Llwyngwril in the Snowdonia National Park. A ten-minute walk through woods following the River Gwril brings you to the sheltered sand and shingle beach where dolphins are sometimes seen at play and the mountains form a stunning backdrop to the sea. The village has two shops - a general store and a post office. The local pub, the Garthangharad Arms, offers good food and a warm welcome.
Accommodation: Renovated in 1995 retaining all its original features while providing comfortable accommodation for four people. Two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Bathroom with bath and shower hand set. Well equipped kitchen/diner with open plan sitting room and inglenook fireplace with 'Vigilant' stove. Fridge, washing machine, microwave and colour TV are provided. Fresh linen supplied free of charge. Night storage heating and off peak hot water provided free. All other electricity provided by a £1 coin meter. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement, but must not be left alone in the cottage. Non smokers preferred. Location: - Snowdonia, where the mountains meet the sea is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Cader Idris Range is on your doorstep as are the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay where dolphins are seen.
