Butterwell is on Davidstow Moor, northern tip of Bodmin Moor, near the highest peaks yet six miles from the sea at Tintagel, Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Haven. The runways of Davidstow old airfield are pot-holed and wide - these you cross to reach our track off the northern side. From there, see our house and the Barn below with separate lawns, tall trees, flowers, swing and hammock. No other neighbours nearby, no passing traffic.

Accommodation

Butterwell Barn has two bedrooms and a shower room downstairs.
Above is a spacious, light, airy living area with vaulted roof, windows on three sides and far-reaching views.
The kitchen corner is near the wooden staircase, there is a dining table below one window and a comfortable sitting area at the far end.
A handsome bookcase houses books, maps, games and plenty of local information.
Below, the main bedroom has an antique brass bed with wooden slatted base and sprung mattress. There is room for our wooden cot if needed.
The second bedroom has a single pine bed with a same-height underbed, each with a sprung mattress, thus we can offer twin beds, a second double or a more spacious single room.
