We are quite rural, yet within easy reach of all local places of interest. Beamish Museum is only 2 miles away, and Durham City and Cathedral about 25 minutes. Hadrian's Wall and Hexham are about a 40 minute drive and the Northumberland Coast can be reached in under an hour.
