Bush Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom terraced cottage, situated in the quiet village of Tallentire, near Cockermouth, on the North Western edge of the Lake District National Park. Originally a farm worker's cottage, dating back to the 1850's, it has recently been refurbished to provide well appointed, modern and comfortable accommodation, although it retains original features. Pub/restaurant nearby.

Accommodation

There is a cosy living room with wood burning stove, dining room, kitchen, 1 double, 1 twin bedroom with travel cot, and bathroom with electric shower.
Outside, there is a private garden with furniture.
The property is centrally heated and all fuel, power and linen is included in the rent.

Location

Bush Cottage offers a convenient base from which to explore the Western lakes and fells, and the unspoilt Solway coast, with its history of smuggling.
Tallentire is only 3 miles from the popular market town of Cockermouth, with its many attractions including Wordsworth's house, Jennings Brewery, a leisure centre as well as galleries, specialist shops, restaurants and pubs.
Keswick, on the shores of Derwentwater, is only 15 miles away, and the historic city of Carlisle is 20 miles.
Penrith and Whitehaven are all within easy reach.
