Another great week exploring the Burren as it 'risks one eye' in its Spring awakening. Not a drop of rain, but wonderful light playing on the ever-changing landscape.Must come when the flowers are in bloom! Chatted to some lovely local people. The cottage only added to our pleasure and enjoyment.

The cottage is an ideal base and a delight to return to after a hard day's walking. Excellent supply of Irish books, much appreciated.

A cosy cottage in a landscape that is really overwhelming. After exploring the West of Ireland from north to south, this is certainly the place we like best....and a gorgeous view from the dining room windows.

This must surely go down as the wettest July week in the history of the Burren, not so much in terms of the frequency of the rain showers but rather the volume of water they dropped on us. But, were we downhearted? We were not! We made the most of the 'sunny intervals' and explored again the places we have come to know and love during our previous six visits to this wonderful corner of Co. Clare. As with many of the previous guests, we spent much of our time hunting wild flowers in what turned out to be a bumper year. But we also found time to explore local hostelries and other places of interest, returning at the end of each day to this fabulous cottage. We will be back.
