Burnside Mill is a recently extended property, the older part of which has just been converted to form a comfortable holiday home with its own enclosed garden. Further gardens extend to over half an acre.
Accommodation, all on one level, consists of: Sunny, south facing sitting room with open fire and TV with video and DVD. There is a double sofa bed to enable larger groups to be accommodated. Internet facilities available, bring your own computer. Bedroom with double bed. Linen and towels are provided and a cot is available on request. Kitchen/ dining room with gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer and an open fire. Shower room with electric shower. The open fires supplement central heating. Coal is available. Location Burnside Mill is situated 2 miles from the market town of Forfar, home of the Forfar bridie. Forfar golf course is just 1 mile away and the Murton nature reserve, where otters, ducks and wading birds may all been seen, is just across the road. Fishing is available locally on Rescobie Loch. The property has views of Dunnichen Hill, site of the famous battle of Nachtansmere in 685 AD.
There are many local walks and the property is well positioned for visits to Glamis Castle, Arbroath, Brechin, Kirriemuir, the beach at Lunan Bay and the magnificent Angus glens.
