 Burnside Cottage is a beautiful crofter's cottage situated on the rocky south east coast of Harris in the village of Maevag, approximately 3 miles from the Ferry Terminal at Tarbert. It is only 37 miles from Stornoway, the nearest airport, with flights daily to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Cars are available for hire, if required, from the airport.
The cottage has picturesque views over East Loch Tarbert where seals and birds may be spotted regularly. The terrace is wild and majestic. Ideal for hill walking, bird watching, fishing or just getting away from it all. There is also a nine-hole golf course and glorious sands on the West Coast of the island.
The cottage is self catering and comprises two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a comfortable sitting room with colour Sky TV, kitchen and dining room and is fully equipped with all electrical appliances. It has its own garden, with garden furniture, and private car parking facilities. - Prices are inclusive of linen, bedding and towels.
- Bookings are confirmed by a deposit of £100 per week, which is non-refundable should you cancel your booking less than 8 weeks prior to your holiday.
- An electricity meter reading will be taken on arrival and departure and units charged at £0.10 per unit.
- It is available to let all year round.
