Brynsifi is a lovely modern bungalow on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula, adjacent to the spectacular Three Cliffs Bay. The bay can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes via a path from the back garden which leads across Pennard Golf Club, to the ruins of Pennard Castle and steps down to the bay.
The bungalow is situated within a unique private community of strikingly individual homes close to the villages of Parkmill, Pennard and Southgate. The Gower Heritage Centre which features a working watermill, pottery, crafts, puppeteers, cafe and hosts a number of special events during the summer is located in Parkmill plus there is a family friendly pub with food and a store with cafe. Pennard Store is well stocked including some vegetarian foods. Southgate and Heatherslade bay has a post office, chemist, bar, stores and cafe. The facilities of Mumbles are six miles away and the city of Swansea is eight miles away. Brynsifi is a special place to stay, the layout and decor is unique and charming. It is a generous size with three bedrooms: there are 3 double beds, a single bed and a single fold-up bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, open plan with dining room. Bathroom includes shower above bath. The two downstairs bedrooms have wash handbasins. Electric heating throughout, and wood burning stove in the sitting room. Logs are included. Electricity is charged at SWALEC night and day unit rates. Bed linen, towels and tea towels supplied. Outdoor seating is provided on a porch to the front, a lawn to the side and a patio at the back. There is a built BBQ. There is a car parking space in the front garden. Please note that access to the bungalow is via a rough unmade rural track that takes about five minutes driving slowly. Please also note that of the two downstairs bedrooms one has a chest high platform bed and the third large bedroom is upstairs. Also there are five broad steps leading to the house. Pets are welcome provided that you bring their own baskets, bedding, food bowls and two large covers if they are likely to go on the sofas. Please also ensure that they are kept out of the bedrooms and clean up after them in the garden.
