Broccoli Bottom is set in 7 acres of open countryside in the very heart of England's smallest county. It is the ideal location for your Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering holiday. Rutland Water, with its fishing, walking, bird watching, sailing and cycling attractions, is within easy walking distance, as is our village inn.

Birdwatchers will not want to miss the Red Kites and Barn Owl that frequently visit Broccoli Bottom. Our rear driveway leads on to the Rutland Water cycle path.
Ramblers routes are close by as are many restaurants, traditional pubs and hotels offering local fare and international cuisine.
The road from Broccoli Bottom leads to many well known places including Burghley House, the historic town of Stamford, Belvoir and Rockingham Castles and Barnsdale Gardens. 5 mins to Rutland Sailing Club & Rutland Fishing Lodge.
Only 3 miles from both Oakham and Uppingham, in the heart of Rutland. A superb Golf club is only 5 minutes drive away providing both 9 and 18 hole courses on a pay as you play basis.

Accommodation
The main house, Broccoli Bottom, provides traditional bed & breakfast using local produce and homemade preserves. There are 2 beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated rooms. Many guests comment on the very comfortable beds? we believe this is one of the reasons for the high number of repeat bookings!

Set in the grounds of the main house are the self catering properties and continuing the vegetable theme you may choose between Lettuce Lodge, Carrot Cottage, Parsnip Place, Mange-Tout Maison, Beetroot Barn and Fennel Folly providing accommodation for between 2 and 6 people, all tastefully decorated with well equipped modern kitchens.
Our aim is to provide a comfortable stay in very relaxed surroundings.
Sleeping up to 27 people on site, Broccoli Bottom is the ideal place for couples, friends and families to meet up and yet have the privacy of their own accommodation.
There is ample parking for boats and trailers and lockable storage for cycles, golf clubs etc? we even have a laundry/drying room for waders, wellies and wetsuits.
WiFi is available on site.
Broccoli Bottom is pet friendly and well behaved dogs are very welcome, (at a small additional cost).
