 The cottage is situated in the coastal village of Crackington Haven, just over the Devon border in beautiful North Cornwall. It occupies a quiet spot inside the entrance to a private drive with its own parking space. The cottage is 50 yards from the village shop and post office and 1 mile from the un-spoilt little beach of Crackington Haven.
Accommodation Hawthorn Cottage has been sympathetically converted from an old barn and features some of the original beams. It is a detached single story building with enclosed lawns front and back where a picnic table and barbeque is provided. The entrance porch has Cornish slate flooring leading into a hall; to the right is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and matching pine furniture. Duvet and bed linen are provided but please bring your own towels. There is a small separate kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, attractive china and ample kitchen utensils and many other extras. To the left of the hall the beamed lounge / diner has a round pine table and chairs, a colour TV, additional room heater and relaxing arm chairs. Night store heating is included in the price from the beginning of October to the end of April. Additional electricity is provided via a £1 coin meter. Laundrette facilities are available. One pet is welcome at £12.00 per week.
Lets are from 3 pm on Saturday to 10 am Saturday.
Short out of season breaks can be arranged.
